The plenary session of the Santiago del Teide City Council has ratified today the decree that establishes the organization and distribution of powers of the new government group that is chaired by the mayor Emilio Navarro of the Popular Party for the third consecutive legislature.
The decree includes the following generic delegations in favor of the following Deputy Mayors: Ibraim Forte Rodríguez, as 1st Deputy Mayor, will assume the powers of Citizen Security, Police, Mobility and Accessibility, Coordination of the Departments of Zones and Traffic.
For her part, the 2nd Deputy Mayor, Beatriz Gonzalez Navarrowill be in charge of Governance, Contracting, Institutional Relations, Purchasing Control, Consumption-Omic and Tamaimo Zone councilor.
The 4th Deputy Mayor, María José García Pérez, He will assume the departments of Education, Women, Drug Addiction, Equality, Family and councilor for the Santiago del Teide area.
For her part, the 5th Deputy Mayor, Luz Goretti Gorrín will assume the areas of Urban Planning, Tourism, Rural Affairs, Water, Environment and Sustainable Growth, Coasts, Beaches and Arguayo Zone councilor.
SPECIFIC DELEGATIONS
Apart from these councilors, the mayor has approved a series of specific delegations in favor of the following councillors:
The areas of Treasury, Municipal Agenda, Animal Welfare and Health, councilor of the Puerto de Santiago-Los Gigantes area will be for the 3rd Deputy Mayor, Ramón Sergio Mendoza Expósito.
the mayor Alexandra Leon Martin She will be the Councilor for Works and Services, General Services, Municipal Transport, Control of Service Companies. The areas of Commerce, Local Economic Development, Primary Sector, Employment, Training, Smart Cities and Public Transport in favor of the councilor Nicolas German Jimenez Leon.
The area of the Cabinet of the Presidency, Protocol, Citizen Participation and Volunteering for the councilor Ana Krysten Martin Hernandez. Councilor Juan Carlos González Herrera will be in charge of the Sports, Youth, Leisure and Free Time areas, while Councilor Tania Cuiadrado Carrasco will assume the area of Social Services, Attention to Minors and the Elderly, Functional Diversity and Housing.
