SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 4 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The acting President of the Government of the Canary Islands, Ángel Víctor Torres, highlighted this Tuesday that he will leave the Executive –before the investiture of the nationalist Fernando Clavijo next week– with 30,000 fewer unemployed and 70,000 more affiliates than in July 2019, when acceded to the Presidency.
In statements to journalists, he has assessed the economic management of his Government in the midst of a very complicated context marked by the invasion of Ukraine and the inflation crisis, the volcanic eruption and the health pandemic and even so, records have been reached not seen since 2008.
Along these lines, he has pointed out that they are going to “sue and demand that the new Government continue walking on that path” so that when the next four years are over, it will deliver “a better Canary Islands” with 30,000 fewer unemployed and 70,000 more members.
