A “historical” stage
Dácil León faces a stage that he describes as “historic” in the southern Consistory. “We want a more agile and efficient City Council, closer to the citizenry, fairer and more transparent,” he highlighted in his appearances. «It is a pride to be part of a new political project that excites and receives the valuable support, trust and collaboration of so many good aroneras and aroneros like those who have met at our headquarters and like those that I know will be joining this training as they learn about our proposals and commitments”, León remarked about the beginning of the journey of Más por Arona, a party formed by the socialist militants who left the party last term, unhappy with the management of former mayor José Julián Mena, who becomes the leader of the opposition, despite prevailing in the elections on May 28, after not being able to reach an absolute majority and being outclassed by the alliance of Partido Popular, Coalición Canaria y Más por Arona.
