Metrotenerife, transport company of the Council of Tenerifehas informed that from this Monday, July 3, the tram service will begin to operate with its summer schedule.
Thus, this first week of July, from Monday to Friday, Line 1 will operate every 6 minutes and Line 2 every 12 minutes in the central hours of the morning, as reported by the Island Corporation.
While, starting on Monday, July 10, and during the rest of the summer, the frequencies will be 7 minutes on Line 1 and 14 minutes on Line 2. The company applies this measure to adapt the transport offer to the summer demand.
The weekend service, both during the day and at night, will not be modified and it will continue to circulate as before, with the same frequencies and times.

Starting this Monday, July 3, Line 1 will provide service from Monday to Friday every 6 minutes, from 07:00 to 15:00, and Line 2 will do the same with a frequency of 12 minutes.. Next, the vehicles will progressively reduce their intervals at each stop depending on the time slot.
On Monday 10 the frequencies of the tram service will be adapted again for the rest of the summer. Therefore, from that date, Monday 10, Line 1 will run every 7 minutes from Monday to Friday and every 14 minutes on Line 2, most of each day.
