The Island Operational Coordination Center (Cecopin) of Tenerife has terminated this Sunday the fire declared last Friday in The Realejoswhich affected a total area of 25,700 square meters of heather, ferns, thorns, elbows, some faya and pines.
The Cabildo de Tenerife has reported on its social networks that at 5:03 p.m. this Sunday the fire that affected Pista Lolita, in Icod el Alto, and that reached a perimeter of about 800 meters, has been considered extinguished.
The fire started in an area close to which a fire was declared in July 2022 that spread through several municipalities in the north of the island.
The forestry brigades of the Cabildo de Tenerife, two helicopters and media from the Los Realejos town hall and the State Administration have participated in extinguishing the fire.
