SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 2 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 42-year-old motorist is in critical condition after colliding with a car late this Saturday and falling under it on the Carretera del Portezuelo, in the municipality of Tegueste (Tenerife).
As reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes), 112, Consortium Firefighters rescued the injured man from under the vehicle and made him available to health personnel.
The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) then verified that the affected person was in cardiorespiratory arrest and began advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, managing to recover him.
Once stabilized and immobilized, due to the various traumas he suffered, the injured man was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
For its part, the Civil Guard regulated traffic in the area and instructed the corresponding procedures, while the Local Police collaborated with the emergency services and the Island Highway Center proceeded to clean the road.
