SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 27 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A man of unknown age has been seriously injured when he was run over on the Autopista del Norte (TF-5) highway, as it passes through the municipality of El Sauzal, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1 -1-2.
The event occurred after 1:30 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert stating that a person had been hit by a vehicle on the TF-5, heading north, and was seriously injured .
Once there, the SUC personnel provided medical assistance to the wounded man and transferred him to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital as he presented severe polytrauma.
The Civil Guard regulated traffic in the area, when important retentions occurred, and instructed the corresponding proceedings. Personnel from the Insular Highway Center proceeded to clean the road.
