SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 27 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The general secretary of the PSOE of Tenerife, Pedro Martín, has been re-elected this Tuesday as president of the Cabildo for being the representative of the most voted list in the last local elections with 11 councilors, ahead of the Canary Islands Coalition, with ten, Partido Popular ( PP), with eight, and VOX with two.
However, both CC and PP have reached an agreement to register this week a motion of no confidence that will make the nationalist Rosa Dávila president and that will foreseeably be debated throughout the second week of July.
