SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 25 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Agents of the Civil Guard have investigated a 38-year-old person from the municipality of Arona, accused of the crimes of fraud, usurpation of civil status and document falsification for defrauding 13,000 euros on mobile phones, as reported by the Armed Institute in a Press release.
The action began as a result of a complaint filed at the Civil Guard offices, in which the owner and representative of a company reported an alleged crime of fraud by impersonating another person as the owner of that company and buying eleven mobile terminals from high-end through a mobile phone operator, raising the value of the purchase to 13,000 euros, generating a debt that the operator claims from the complainant.
Agents of the Civil Guard began the investigation and after carrying out the necessary investigations and checks, they managed to locate the person who made the purchase of the terminals, allegedly usurping the identity of the owner of the company. In an interview with the agents who have carried out the investigation, the defendant acknowledged the facts, and the mobile terminals could not be recovered up to now. The proceedings initiated have been made available to the Court of Arona.
