SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 26 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The XI Legislature begins this Tuesday in the Parliament of the Canary Islands with the constituent session, starting at 11:00 am, and the conformation of the seven parliamentary groups of PSOE, with 23 seats, CC (19), PP (15), NC- BC (5), VOX (4), ASG (3) and AHI (1), which will occupy the Mixed Group.

The session will begin with a greeting from the president of the Permanent Deputation, Gustavo Matos, and the constitution of the Age Table to later begin the oath or promise of the deputies and elected deputies.

In turn, the new presidency of Parliament will be elected, which by virtue of the government pact signed between CC and PP falls on the popular ranks and predictably on the mayoress of Lanzarote, Astrid Pérez.

For the rest of the Board, CC is going to opt in principle for Ana Oramas as vice president and Mario Cabrera as secretary while the PSOE has already agreed in the regional executive that Gustavo Matos and Patricia Hernández occupy a second vice president and another secretary respectively.

The constituent session will culminate with a speech by the new Parliament presidency.

The new Chamber that emerged from the last regional elections is more equal than the previous one, with 37 deputies and 33 deputies and approximately half of the seats repeat in the Chamber and the rest are new or return after dedicating themselves to other activities.
