SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 25 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A six-year-old boy has been injured after he was run over yesterday Saturday in the municipality of Arico, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred around 9:30 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert that a minor had been run over on La Medida street and required health care.
The Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources to intervene in the area and a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and the Local Police of Arico traveled to the scene.
Once there, SUC personnel assisted the child and transferred him to the Health Center in the area. Once stabilized, he was evacuated to the Nuestra Sra. De Candelaria University Hospital due to moderate trauma to the lower limb, barring complications.
