This exhibition, which will be exhibited in two rooms of the Tacorontero public center, is the work of many world champions in the modality of underwater photography, among them several canaries, since the Islands have the best experts in these disciplines. The I Marine Biodiversity Open of Tenerife, held in tacoronteras waters, was carried out within a context of citizen science, so that participation not only focused on taking the photographs, but also had to be within a content in which an identification of the ecosystem and the species was facilitated.

The first Marine Biodiversity Open held a year ago has also served to incorporate 70 species into the Red Pro Mar catalogue, in which to date there were no references to the Tacorontera coast. The coastline is one of the great potentials of the Tenerife municipality, an environment that, together with the mountains, make up the particular seal and business card of Tacoronte.
