The Town Hall of the Historic Village of Santiago del Teide announces that until 11:59 p.m. on July 23, the deadline for submitting the works for the “XXXVII edition of the Rincones de Santiago 2023 Photography and Painting Contest” to which all those people over 18 years of Spanish nationality can attend.
The theme should be about the “Corners of Santiago”, understood as a representative sample of corners, picturesque landscapes, ethnography, etc., of the municipality of Santiago del Teide. The works will be original and unpublished and may not have been previously presented in another contest or photographic contest, with the sole responsibility of the participant, as well as any claim on copyright.
Regarding the deadline for the delivery of works, this will be until 11:59 p.m. Sunday, July 23, while the jury’s decision will be made on July 24 and the reading will take place on July 25, coinciding with the celebration of the Patron Saint Festivities of Santiago del Teide.
For the mode of “Paint”, the technique will be free and the work will have a minimum format of 50 cm high x 65 cm wide, highlighting that the prizes are as follows:
FIRST PRIZE………………… 759.49 euros
SECOND PRIZE………………… 300.00 euros
THIRD PRIZE………………… 150.00 euros
Regarding the mode of “Photography”, The works will have a minimum resolution of 4 mpixel, and will present a minimum format of 40 cm high x 60 cm wide and with a resolution of 300 PPP. They can be in color or black and white, natural or manipulated.

THIRD PRIZE………………… 150.00 euros
In the same way, a maximum of two works may be presented, of a single modality or a combination of both by each author, being presented as follows:

Fill in the personal data (escrow).
Attach an image/s of the work/s in JPG format with a weight of up to 6MB indicating in “Description” the place where the photograph was taken or the place that inspired the painting, which must be within the Municipality of Santiago del Teide.
Finally, it should be noted that the jury will be chaired by the Councilor for Culture of the Santiago del Teide City Council and will include people related to and qualified in pictorial art and photography as members; although a technician from the Department of Culture will act as secretary of the jury.
