Juan Acosta (Independent Association of Santa Úrsula, AISU) faces his third term in Santa Úrsula. The veteran mayor who took office during the plenary session held this Saturday will govern alone after achieving his second absolute majority, since has the 12 councilors obtained in the elections last May 28.
“We have a solid project for Santa Úrsula for the coming years, which involves carrying out a policy closeness and union with the people, as well as active listening and dialogue with the opposition”, affirms Acosta, to add: “We want to continue focusing on the needs of the people and not on the political disputes that often escape to the reality of a town hall”.
In his inauguration speech, the mayor has emphasized how motivated he and his team are to work for the progress of the town. “Santa Úrsula needs to get excited about the idea of an increasingly better municipality.” “Yes, we are aware of the need to prioritize the projects that we must complete and to provide solutions to problems that have become entrenched, as is the case of La Quinta,” argues the municipal councilor, who adds: “We know that the task is not easy -he stressed-, that the road can be full of stones, but we have plenty of enthusiasm, determination and courage to face it”.
