The Local Government Board of San Cristóbal de La Laguna has denied permission to hold the Reggaeton Beach Festival 2023 Tenerifescheduled for July 1 and 2 at the old municipal zoo (Safari Kudu), located near the La Esperanza karting circuit.
According to sources from the Laguna City Council to DIARIO DE AVISOS, the event has received unfavorable reports from different municipal areas. “It is considered that there are not sufficient security guarantees for an event of these characteristics to develop normally, due to the expected volume and the conditions of the venue,” they point out.
The same municipal sources add that “the characteristics of the road in the area discourage the agglomeration of people and vehicles due to traffic safety.”
It should be remembered that the RBF already discontinued last summer when it was going to be held in San Miguel de Abona, for “security reasons”. A first date on the Island for which some 20,000 tickets had been sold, according to the promoters.
Among the artists confirmed for the La Laguna festival are Justin Quiles, Manuel Turizo, Eladio Carrión, Arcangel, Myke Towers or Mora, all of them recognized worldwide for their careers in urban music.
