The leaders of Unidas se puede, Rubens Ascanioand of Canary Green Dragon TreeAlberto Rodriguez, in The lagoon expressed yesterday the good harmony between the two formations during the negotiations and their willingness to reach an agreement with the PSOE to form a left government in the town.

However, they condition their support tomorrow for the investiture of Luis Yeray Gutiérrez as mayor to the pre-signing of an agreement of government. “We don’t know why until now they only wanted to talk about an investiture agreement, but it has to be both a program and a municipal project and how that government is going to be built. And we know that it is viable”, affirmed Rubens Ascanio.

“We are not going to give him the mayoralty under any circumstances, the people voted for a diversity within the forces of progress and that diversity has to be expressed at all levels, at the programmatic level, in specific government agreements with deadlines and in the teams”, pointed out Alberto Rodríguez.

They trust that this agreement can be reached throughout the day and pointed out that it would be “a shame” if the PSOE began the mandate in a minority. “The ball is in the court of the Socialist Party. If this is a negotiating strategy to put pressure on, it won’t work,” said Rodríguez, who asked the PSOE to say “publicly” if it is committed to a progress pact or wants “a turn to the right or an agreement of any kind with the right in the municipality.
