The best circular hiking trails in Tenerife

Are you one of those people who is always thinking about doing a route with family or friends but never takes the plunge? Perhaps choosing the most suitable for the group is the most complicated, but this time we show you the best circular routes to do hiking in Tenerife.

The great plus of being circular is that they begin and end at the same pointso you can go to the exit or nearby place with your vehicle, without having to depend on another type of transport to return you to the beginning of the route.

Another advantage? That they are in Tenerife and that means that the scenery will not disappoint you. These are our proposals:

Path of the Senses

In it Anaga Rural Park is the Path of the Senses, a small route of low difficulty that allows you to live a special experience. Thanks to this route, you will not only enter a green landscape or be able to see some of the best panoramic views of the metropolitan area, but you will also be able to unleash your senses. This trail is made up of three different layouts, thanks to which you can live a very unique sensory experience: wake up your senses (adapted for people with motor or sensory disabilities) has a length of 340 meters; Let it surprise you It is a circular route that runs partly along the old Las Montañas road and is 544 meters long, and What the Monteverde containswith 1,272 meters, is also circular and accesses the Llano de los Loros viewpoint.

Hell’s Ravine

One of the best known circular routes in Tenerife is the trail of the Hell’s Ravine, in adeje. Due to its own characteristics, the only way to return to the start is by going the way, so rather than a circular one, you must go back. However, its beauty is such, as well as the amount of native flora and fauna that can be observed, that it deserves a space on this list. Roques de Garcia

Framed in the Teide National Park is the path of Roques de Garcíaa circular route of 3.5 kilometers that has a low degree of difficulty. Its starting and ending point is the Roulette Lookout and, how could it be otherwise, during the journey, the hiker can enjoy some natural landscapes from a movie. In fact, more and more big productions are interested in filming in this part of the Island. A perfect route to appreciate the diversity of Canarian flora and delight in breathtaking views.
