SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 16 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Agents of the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife have arrested a 20-year-old young man at dawn this Friday as the alleged perpetrator of an attack with an ax on a family member with whom he shares a home in the Villa Ascensión area.
The victim of the events is the uncle of the arrested man and had a bleeding head wound for which he had to be evacuated by ambulance to the University Hospital of Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria (HUNSC).
The local police officers were initially alerted to a possible conflict between cohabitants and upon arrival at the scene they met with both parties and requested the support of a health resource when they found a 57-year-old man with a bleeding head wound. .
Apparently, the injured man and the detainee are uncle and nephew and, for just over six months, they have lived in this house due to problems related to a discrepancy over an inheritance, the Local Police reported in a note.
The arrested man pointed out that his uncle had arrived at dawn and entered the house by jumping over a gate, causing a struggle between the two, while the injured man stated that, although he had not come to his house for a few days, his nephew denied him access and had even put a padlock that prevented him from entering the house.
A third person who lives in the place could not provide data on this alleged aggression, stating that he did not observe the events.
The Local Police found the ax related to the events and proceeded to arrest and transfer the detainee, who, after going through a health center, was brought before the courts.
