SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 15 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Government Council of the Canary Islands announced this Thursday the dismissal of the acting councilors for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries and Social Rights, Alicia Vanoostende and Noemí Santana, respectively.

The acting spokesman, Julio Pérez, has indicated that Vanoostende will take office this Saturday as councilor in the Los Llanos de Aridane City Council and Santana will be the head of Sumar’s list in the General Elections for the province of Las Palmas.

Pérez has indicated that the president, Ángel Víctor Torres, has sent them a message of “gratitude” for the work carried out in the Legislature and has appointed as their substitutes, until the arrival of the new Executive, the advisors of Ecological Transition and Economy, José Antonio Valbuena and Elena Máñez, respectively.

In addition, other dismissals have been notified such as that of the Deputy Minister of Public Administrations, Alicia Álvarez, who will be number two on the PSOE list to Congress for Santa Cruz de Tenerife; the general director of Justice, Mónica Ceballos, elected councilor of the Cabildo de Tenerife; the Deputy Minister of Social Rights, Gemma Martínez, new councilor in the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria; Alejandro Ramos, General Director of Labor; Gustavo Santana, Deputy Minister of Infrastructures and Transport; Víctor Navarro, General Director of Land and Water Planning and Sandra Celis, Director of the Fuerteventura Health Area.
