The Santiago del Teide City Council has opened registrations to participate in the VII edition of the Walls of Hell Swimming Journey that will take place on October 29 from 09:30 a.m. and that will qualify for the Canarias Open Water Cup.
As in previous editions there will be two distances in contention: a short distance of 1.5 km that will take a circular route on Los Guíos beach and another long distance of 6.5 km starting at Masca beach and arriving at the beach of Los Guios. For the short distance there will be a maximum of 200 registered while for the long distance the maximum number of registered cannot exceed 200. The maximum time to be able to carry out the different modalities will be 3 hours for the 6.5 distance and 1 hour for the distance of 1.5km.
An important aspect to take into account for the distance of 6.5 km is that it will be necessary to accredit at least one journey made between October 2021 and October 2022 of at least 2,000 meters to be able to carry out the 6.5 km test.
In general, registrations will have a price of €30 for the 6.5 km race and €20 for the 1.5 km race, while people registered in the municipality of Santiago del Teide will have a 50% discount on both evidence.
The inscriptions that will be open until next October 25 will be made online through the form enabled in the following link:
