SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 15 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Governing Council of the Canary Islands authorized this Thursday to double the number of hours of extraordinary services to be carried out during the year 2023 and, proportionally, the monthly and semester limits, for the personnel of the Teacher Human Resources Selection and Provision Service and Internal Regime of the General Directorate of Personnel of the Ministry of Education, Universities, Culture and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands.
This staff is in charge of processing the selective procedures for the stabilization of temporary employment of teaching staff corresponding to the 2022 Public Employment Offer, as well as the call for access to the Body of Professors and the call for the integration procedure in Secondary of the Corps of Technical Vocational Training Teachers.
The measure is justified by the lack of sufficient personnel in the service responsible for the management of these procedures, which must comply with the execution deadlines established in the regulations, collects a note from the Executive.
In addition, the calls for extraordinary stabilization procedures imply the elaboration of specific bases, which are the subject of union negotiation at the education sector table.
Likewise, the publication of the call at the beginning of December 2022 implies the opening of deadlines, with the consequent management burden, for which reason it is necessary to extend the working day of these personnel.
