Mayte Pociello Marty, president of the Red Cross in the Archipelago

Mayte Pociello Marty has been elected the new president of the Red Cross in Canary Islands for this new period 2023-2026. On April 28, she was appointed to this position by the National President of the Spanish Red Cross, María del Mar Pageo Giménez. She has a degree in Philosophy and Letters, specializing in Psychology. Regarding her professional experience, it should be noted that He served as the Head of Traffic in the Iberia company, at the Airport of Tenerife South. She is currently retired, which allows her to dedicate more time to the Institution.

For this new stage, the president wanted to convey her continued commitment to the Institution and the need to proactively evolve to adapt to social and technological changes. «In this new period we have to continue in the same line, with a clear objective that are people in vulnerable situations, the most disadvantaged groups such as the elderly, women, children and adolescents, …, adapting to the needs that are required at each moment. and get as far ahead as possible.” explains Mayte Pociello.

Isaac Díaz Sosa has been re-elected provincial president of the Spanish Red Cross in the palms, Appointed on May 19 of the current year, a position that he had already held in the previous period 2019-2023. «It is a great honor to once again assume the provincial presidency of the Las Palmas Red Cross, and I do so with the same illusion and enthusiasm as in the previous period. On May 19, the president of the Red Cross in the Canary Islands, with the approval of the national president, appointed Heliodoro González Real as provincial president of the Provincial Committee of the Red Cross in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, for this new period 2023-2026.
