SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –

A 60-year-old man has died after suffering a cardiorespiratory arrest while riding a bicycle on Avenida de Bruselas in the municipality of Adeje, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.

The event occurred around half past ten in the morning, when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert informing that a cyclist had suffered a loss of consciousness while driving in the aforementioned direction.

Cecoes activated the necessary emergency resources and a basic life support ambulance and another SUC medical ambulance attended the scene; a doctor and a nurse from the Health Center in the area; Local Police of Adeje; and National Police.

Upon the arrival of the health personnel from the Health Center and the SUC, they confirmed that the affected person was in cardiorespiratory arrest, for which they carried out resuscitation maneuvers without result, confirming his death.

Local Police officers collaborated with the intervening resources and the National Police was in charge of instructing the proceedings.
