SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 8 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Government Council of the Canary Islands authorized the Ministry of Health in its session this Thursday to spend 7,422,264.00 euros for the contracting of the laundry, linen and integral management of the uniformity service of the centers dependent on the Management Department of the Dr. Negrín University Hospital of Gran Canaria, dependent on the Canary Islands Health Service.
The contracting of the service will be carried out for a period of four years, between 2023 and 2027, with the following distribution of the bidding budget by annual payments: 618,522 euros in 2023, 1,855,566 euros in the years 2024, 2025 and 2026 and 1,237 .044 euros in 2027.
The laundry and linen service contracted includes the treatment of all hospital and uniform clothing used at the Dr. Negrín University Hospital of Gran Canaria, the Juan Carlos I Hospital and the San Roque de Guía Hospital, as well as the washing the personal clothes of institutionalized patients at Hospital Juan Carlos I.
It will include the collection of dirty clothes in the linen units and all the necessary activities (weighing, treatment, processing, drying, ironing, repair, if applicable, folding, classifying, packaging and transport) for its use in those units (clean area). , in addition to the supply and maintenance in perfect condition, cleaning and disinfection, during the term of the contract, of the waitress trolleys, bag trolleys, trolleys for the supply of clean linen, cages or scales, collects a note from the Executive.
