Two men, one of them 62 years old, have been injured of varying degrees when their cars collided head-on as they passed through Los Silos, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The events occurred at 06:43 this Thursday on the TF-42, at approximately kilometer 14,900, as it passes through the aforementioned municipality, the place where members of the Tenerife Fire Consortium went to release the driver. of one of the cars that had been trapped.
Subsequently, health personnel from Primary Care and the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) treated the 62-year-old man who, at the initial moment of assistance, had moderate injuries, except for complications, for which he was transferred by ambulance to the Hospital from North.
They also treated the other man involved in the accident who initially presented mild neck pain, for which he was transferred by ambulance to the Hospital del Norte.
At the scene of the incident, members of the Highway Maintenance Service of the Cabildo de Tenerife also appeared, as well as agents of the Civil Guard who made the corresponding report.
