The Canarias 1,500 kilometers of coastline platform has strongly denounced the imprudence of both tourists and locals who venture to bathe in the well-known Tancón pool, located in the municipality of Santiago del Teide, in Tenerife. Despite the express prohibition due to the danger it represents, this coastal area has claimed the lives of at least six people in the last four years. Given this worrying panorama, fines have been established for those who ignore the prohibition and put their lives at risk by entering this beautiful but deadly enclave in the south of the island.
