The Department of Agriculture of the City of El Rosario opens the period for the presentation of applications for aid to beekeeping within the usual line of subsidies for said activity. Applications may be submitted until the next day 20. The subsidies included in this call for aid to beekeeping are a specific and exceptional financial supplement to each beekeeper in the municipality, who must be registered in El Rosario. The amount of the aid may not exceed 100% of the total budget of the activity.
Beneficiaries must be registered in the Registry of Livestock Farms of Canary Islands within the obligatory period in the year of the call, as a beekeeper and with a minimum period of six months, this year, to settle the hives in the municipality of El Rosario, when they are transhumant, and all those that are shelves during all year in the municipality of El Rosario. In addition, he must have been registered in the municipal register of inhabitants of the municipality, for more than a year before the publication of the bases. This line of subsidies is endowed with 3,500 euros.
This help line also aims to promote young beekeepers, for which, among the assessment criteria, an additional percentage is established for those applicants who are up to 40 years of age, including those born in 1983.
