Agents of the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife intercepted in the last hours a 38-year-old driver who, fleeing from a control, fled, in which he jumped five red lights.
Once intercepted, the agents verified that the vehicle he was driving lacked the mandatory insurance in force and had not passed the technical vehicle inspection (ITV), details the Local Police on social networks.
The chase took place between José Martí avenue and Las Ramblas de Santa Cruz. A police vehicle was slightly damaged.
The Local Police instructed proceedings for reckless driving.
