A hiker has been moderately injured after suffering a fall in Los Realejos, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The events occurred on the afternoon of this Sunday in the Rambla de Castro area of the aforementioned municipality, a place where members of the Tenerife Fire Consortium traveled to, who accessed the person affected, they gave him the first attention following the instructions provided. by telecare by a coordinating doctor from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) present in the operating room and they proceeded to immobilize him.
Subsequently, rescuers from the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) helicopter got off the aircraft and, with the collaboration of the firefighters, hoisted the affected person on a stretcher to the device to evacuate him to the La Guancha helipad.
Once in La Guancha, SUC personnel assisted the wounded man who had moderate upper limb trauma, barring complications, for which he was transferred by sanitary ambulance to the Specialized Emergency Care Center (CEAU) of the Hospital del Norte . National Police officers also appeared in the area.
