A 30-year-old man has been seriously injured after falling from several meters high on the coast of Los Abrigos, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1 -1-2.
The event occurred around 7:30 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert requesting health care for a person who had fallen from several meters in height, in the access area to a beach in the aforementioned place.
Once the necessary emergency resources were activated to intervene in the area, members of the Tenerife Fire Consortium, a basic life support ambulance and a medicalized ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and agents of the Local Police traveled to the place.
The affected person was rescued from the place by the fire brigade, who took him to the area where the SUC ambulance personnel were located to proceed with his evaluation and assistance. Once stabilized, he was transferred in serious condition by medicalized ambulance to the Hospital de La Candelaria.
The Local Police collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources and prepared the appropriate reports.
