A traffic accident between a car and a passenger car on the TF-5, the motorway that runs through the north of Tenerife, has caused significant delays this Friday morning. The traffic jam extends along approximately 30 kilometers of highway, causing a delay of half an hour.
The incident occurred at the height of San Benito, in the municipality of San Cristobal de La Laguna, in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is at this point where the retentions begin on the aforementioned road.
Staff from the Civil Guard, firefighters from Tenerife, members of the Highway and Mobility Area of the Cabildo de Tenerife and staff from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) have intervened.
