SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, May 31. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A total of 5,434 people have registered to take the Baccalaureate Assessment for University Access (EBAU) in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which, as every year, has been coordinated by the University of La Laguna and, in 2023, It will take place over four days between Wednesday the 7th and Saturday the 10th of June.
Of this overall number, 4,730 students will take the general phase, while the remaining 704 will only take the specific phase to raise the qualification obtained in a previous call. Another noteworthy fact is that in the global calculation, the number of women (3,177) exceeds that of men (2,257).
Tenerife is the island that will bring together the vast majority of registrations in the general phase, with 4,730 in total. They are followed by La Palma, with 341; La Gomera, with 95; and El Hierro, with 36. As for the options, the most popular is Science (2,536), which is followed by the Social Sciences itinerary (1,481), the Humanities itinerary (474) and Arts (239).
In Tenerife there will be two venues for the exams: students from centers between Arico and Buenavista del Norte will take the tests at different faculties and facilities on the Guajara Campus, while those from the municipalities of Granadilla to Santiago del Teide will do so at the Las Torres Sports Center Pavilion and the Adeje Citizen Participation Center. In La Palma, the headquarters will be the IES Alonso Pérez Díaz; in La Gomera, the IES San Sebastián de La Gomera; and in El Hierro, the CEP Valverde.

As has been customary for some courses now, the first two days of the test will be dedicated to the general tests: Spanish Language and Literature II, Foreign Language II and History of Spain. Thus, on June 7, the students of the Science option will do them and on the 8th, that of the other options. The last two days will be dedicated to the exams of modality and elective subjects.
The provisional ratings will be published online on June 16 from 1:00 p.m., and from that moment until 12:00 p.m. on June 20, it will be possible to file claims. Once resolved, the final qualifications will be available on June 23. Those who wish to see their exams may request it on June 26 and 27, and the appointments to carry out this procedure will be published one day later on June 29 and 30.
People who have passed the EBAU in the June session may apply for the ordinary pre-registration for admission to undergraduate degrees that the University of La Laguna will open between June 19 and July 3. There will also be an extraordinary call for the EBAU, on July 5, 6 and 7.
