SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, May 31. (EUROPE PRESS) –
Agents of the Civil Guard belonging to the Rural Patrol of the Puerto de la Cruz Company (PRC) have arrested a man, a resident of the municipality of La Orotava, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health, in the form of drug trafficking drugs.
The events occurred while the Civil Guard agents, during a verification point for people and vehicles on a road in La Orotava, detected a vehicle that raised their suspicions due to the maneuvers carried out by its driver when he noticed the agent presence.
For this reason they stopped him and after the appropriate identification checks, a superficial search was carried out in the vehicle, locating under the passenger seat a plastic bag inside which there were ten acorns of hashish, which threw a weight of 10 grams each, with a total of 100 grams of the intervened substance.
Fractional money was also located, a total of 230 euros in bills of various values and two mobile phones. The detainee, along with the proceedings carried out, has been presented in the Investigating Court number 2 of La Orotava.
