The sweep of Juan Ramón Martín (Agrupación Independiente de Arafo/Canaria Coalition) in the elections on Sunday in Arafo -he achieved ten of the thirteen councilors- claimed the first two victims yesterday, the head of the PSOE list, Juan Francisco Pestano Gabino and from the PP, Luz Pérez, who submitted their resignation and will not collect the councilor’s minutes on June 17.

The PSOE achieved two councilors, one less than four years ago, and could penalize the fact of having shared government with Martín for a good part of the mandate, before resigning after learning that Martín was presenting himself again under the acronym of CC.

The PP lost one of the two councilors on 28M, drawing only the minutes of Luz Pérez, who replaced Tamara del Pino, who appeared on Carlos Tarife’s list in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
