SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, May 29. (EUROPE PRESS) –
In the Cabildo de Tenerife, with 96.36 percent of the vote counted, the PSOE would retain the insular presidency after taking a councilor from CC and just under 4,700 votes.
Specifically, the PSOE has obtained 11 seats for the CC’s 10 and the PP’s 7. This would leave in the hands of the CC and PP the possibility of forming an absolute majority and launching a motion of no confidence against the PSOE, which a priori has no one to rely on unless it could close an agreement with the CC itself.
The popular ones have recomposed with respect to their result of 4 deputies in 2019, which double, and improving the 6 of 2015. Vox breaks in with 2 deputies and United Sí Podemos loses its two seats of representation.
