SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, May 27. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Aena airport network plans to operate a total of 5,282 flights in the Canary Islands from May 26 to 30, of which 3,412 are national and 1,870 are international, according to data provided to Europa Press by the airport manager.
Today, Saturday, will be the day with the highest number of scheduled operations, with a total of 1,185 scheduled flights, followed by yesterday, Friday, when 1,081 operations were scheduled; on Sunday, May 28, when 1,063 movements will be made; and on Monday, with 1,053 operations. The quietest day will be Tuesday, a public holiday in the Canary Islands, on which 900 flights will take place.
The three airports with the most operations during these days will be Gran Canaria, with 1,519 scheduled flights; Tenerife North, where 968 operations are planned; and that of Tenerife Sur, with 880 scheduled flights.
As for the other airports, the Lanzarote airport will operate 879 scheduled movements for these four days, while the Fuerteventura Airport will schedule a total of 610 operations, followed by La Palma (302 flights); El Hierro (84 flights); and La Gomera (40 flights).
The flight schedule is subject to changes that may occur in the operations of the different airlines depending on the different situations that arise.
