SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, May 27. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A total of 2,000 agents from the different units of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas Commands, both belonging to the Canary Islands Civil Guard Zone, will serve tomorrow, May 28.
The agents will be in charge of ensuring citizen security and the exercise of the rights and freedoms of citizens throughout the election day in which the right to vote is exercised.
A security device will be established in which the Civil Guard agents will intensify the surveillance and protection of the infrastructures and its surroundings that tomorrow will be used in the Institution’s own demarcation in the Canary Islands.
In addition, Civil Guard agents specialized in cybersecurity will take the appropriate security measures to guarantee the protection of information systems in this field.
