SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, May 24. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The 25th anniversary of the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands stars in the ONCE coupon on Tuesday, May 30, for which five million coupons will spread the image of this institution throughout Spain .

José Antonio López, ONCE delegate in the Canary Islands; Miguel Ángel Déniz, president of the ONCE Territorial Council in the Canary Islands; Gustavo Armas, General Director of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands; Moisés Sánchez, director of 1-1-2 Canarias; and Juan Ignacio Pérez-Nievas, manager of Health and Safety Services Management in the Canary Islands (GSC), have presented this coupon that includes the phrase ‘Emergencies, tell me?’.

The Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands was founded on May 30, 1998 to guarantee a rapid and effective response to all emergency calls that occur in the Islands.

Since its start-up, this service has served more than 11 million people. It has responded to requests for help from residents and tourists at any point in the archipelago by dialing a single telephone number, which is answered in different languages, 365 days a year.
The 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands has quadrupled the average number of people served since 1998, going from 352 to 1,500 per day, with a monthly average of more than 43,000 people.

Requests for help from citizens in the 25 years of operation of 1-1-2 Canarias exceed 20 million. Incidents of a health nature exceeded six million, and those related to security, three and a half million. For their part, services in the fire and rescue sector exceeded 934,000; accidents (traffic or other) exceeded 950,000; and those related to Maritime Rescue were about 22,600.

The ONCE Daily Coupon puts at stake a prize of 500,000 euros for the number plus the series, and 49 prizes of 35,000 euros for the five figures of the winning number. In addition: 450 prizes of 250 euros for the first four figures and another 450 prizes for the last four; 9,000 prizes of 25 euros in the case of the last three or first three; and the same for the first and last two (6 euros), and a refund of 2 euros to the first or last number of the winning number.
