A vehicle has collided with one of the trams that runs through Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the afternoon of this Wednesday. The accident occurred at the height of Cruz del Señor, specifically at the intersection between Avenida Islas Canarias and Avenida Venezuela.
The vehicle involved has been seriously damaged, as can be seen in a photograph taken by one of the witnesses to the event.
The incident has caused major retentions in the capital, slowing down traffic and producing queues, according to what witnesses present in the area have pointed out to this newspaper. The place has quickly filled with police vehicles and ambulances, without it being known at the moment if there are injuries in the event.
