A man has been seriously injured after falling from a ladder while painting the facade of a house in Tenerife. The event occurred this Wednesday morning, around 12:30 p.m., on La Alzada street in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The 60-year-old affected person presented severe polytrauma, for which he was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital.
After receiving a telephone alert, 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources to assist the injured person. Consortium firefighters rescued the injured man who was in an area that was impossible to access for the ambulance of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and transferred him to the place where the health resource was located.
SUC personnel provided health care to the affected person and immediately evacuated him to the hospital. The Local Police collaborated with the emergency services and instructed the corresponding proceedings.
