Two of the 60 migrants rescued in a boat in the south of Tenerife are in serious condition



A boat with some 60 people on board has arrived this Tuesday by its own means at the port of Las Galletas, in the south of Tenerife, and two of its occupants have been evacuated to a hospital in serious condition, sources from the service informed EFE. relief.

These two people in serious condition have been transferred to a hospital and the assistance device in the port is considering doing the same with another four due to different pathologies, the sources add.

In addition, the Ízar de Salvamento Marítimo vessel is currently heading to the rescue of another inflatable located in the south of Fuerteventura with 46 people on board, according to sources from the emergency services.

With these there are four boats located in the last hours in Canary waters with a total of 198 people on board, after the two inflatable boats attended by Salvamento Marítimo last morning with 120 people on board, one in Gran Canaria and the other in Fuerteventura.
