Peter Martin, President of the Council of Tenerife and candidate of the PSOE to his re-election, he announced yesterday that the sports and leisure park of the Finca Escuder, in the lagoon district of Taco, will begin to be built this year. Martín advanced him in a neighborhood meeting together with the mayor and socialist candidate for the La Laguna City Council, Luis Yeray Gutierrez.
The PSOE of Tenerife thus responds to a historical demand of the citizenry, who claimed the use of this space for their enjoyment, the party said in a statement. The Cabildo de Tenerife, under the mandate of Pedro Martín, has promoted the construction of this sports and leisure park with which the area is recovered. “The place will be adapted and respectful of the environment for the practice of sports,” explained Martín. The purpose of the project is the environmental regeneration of the farm, which borders the Taco neighborhood and Padre Manjón street.
