The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the area of Carreteras, awards the rehabilitation of the surface of the insular highway TF-620 along its entire route, that runs from Los Roques to the urban area of Fasnia. This project has a budget item of 3,364,159 euros and an execution period of 12 months.
The initiative, which plans to completely restore the pavement of the road, includes acting in ditches and bus stops, as well as improving containment elements of a road of special importance as it is the main access to the municipality of Fasnia.
At present, the TF-620 suffers great deficiencies since a comprehensive rehabilitation has not been undertaken for years. On previous occasions the road has been bumped, but this intervention will offer a much more lasting response that will improve its characteristics of functionality, comfort, safety and load-bearing capacity.
In 2015, the Cabildo reinforced the asphalt of this road and undertook environmental and landscape restoration in 2,573 square meters. So 122,000 euros were invested in the acceleration and deceleration lanes as well as in the underpass. The reinforcement of the roadway in the initial section was also completed.
