The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Tenerife Isla Solidaria program, managed by Sinpromi, has collaborated with the Platform Federation of Volunteer Entities of the Canary Islands in holding the II Conference on Volunteering and Accreditation of Vol+ and Certifica+ Competences.
It is an informative forum, which was attended by nearly a hundred people, to promote the recognition of skills and abilities obtained through voluntary action.
In a statement, the Island Corporation explained that the meeting, aimed at entities, administrations, people and companies committed to volunteering, took place at the CajaCanarias Foundation.
In its development, the Vol+ and Certifica+ programs were made known, tools for volunteers and entities to certify their training, as well as the experience acquired in the volunteer actions they carry out on the islands.
Here, the CEO of Citizen Participation and Diversity, Nauzet Gugliotta, pointed out that “the objective of the meeting was to value the importance of volunteering and inform about programs to accredit the experience acquired by people who do and are trained in volunteering , to help enrich their professional and curricular experience”.
