He Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) of the Government of the Canary Islands has carried out a successful search and rescue operation, finding the body of a 21-year-old man of Italian nationality. The young man disappeared after jumping into the sea from a boat near the Puertito de Armeñime beach, in Adeje, Tenerife.
The incident took place around 5:30 p.m. on Monday and the body was located on Tuesday morning, according to sources from the 112 emergency service.
Maritime Rescue and the Emergency and Rescue Group participated in the search operation, with the support of the Local police, National Police and firefighters of the Tenerife Consortium from land.
