SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, May 16. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Education and Youth area, has opened registration for three free Youth Summer camps that will take place at the San Andrés Student Residence, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, between the months of June and July . The deadline for receipt of applications will be available until May 29 on the web www.tenerifejovenyeduca.com.
The offer consists of three camps that are divided by date, theme and age group. On the one hand, the Creative Campus will be held between June 27 and July 6. Young people aged 14 and 15 will be able to participate in it, who during these ten days will work on stage resources and will be able to choose between theatrical, audiovisual or comic workshops and graphic novels. In addition, they will carry out different excursions, outings and evenings linked to the workshops.
On the other hand, the Environmental Campus will take place between July 7 and 16 and will be aimed at young people between the ages of 16 and 17. Participants will learn to create an environmental awareness campaign and create action groups with real interventions in the natural environment to improve the environment and stop climate change. During this camp, they will enjoy visits from other young people who are already taking action for the environment, as well as activities and excursions to places of interest that will help participants create a solution for a greener world.
In the case of the Solidarity Campus, which will be held between July 17 and 26, young people aged 18 and 19 will participate. This theme seeks to build a fairer world in which people actively participate in solidarity actions and volunteering. To do this, meetings, workshops and activities will be held in different spaces but with Las Teresitas beach as the focal point.
Each of these campuses will have a maximum capacity of 25 participants. The assignment of the selected young people will be carried out by means of a lottery among all the applications received, the date and place of which will be announced once the application submission period has ended.
