The prestigious British newspaper The Telegraph places the northern town of Garachico among the ten best coastal towns in Spain. Garachico enters the national Top 10, in eighth place, only behind Sanlúcar de Barrameda (1), Cadaqués (2), Tarifa (3), Sitges (4), Estepona (5), Llanes (6) and Altea (7). And it surpasses towns of proven beauty and tourist tradition such as Baiona, Cudillero, Denia, Combarro, Nerja, Comillas, Mojácar, Peñíscola or Fornells.
