Mossos sources have confirmed to EFE the information provided by ‘El Caso’ about the death last Monday of this woman, whose body was found in her home by members of the judicial committee that had come to the apartment to proceed with the eviction.
The judicial action, ordered by the Investigating Court number 6 of Barcelona, was undertaken after the woman stopped paying the rent for the apartment in which she lived, at the intersection of Urgell street and Gran Vía, in the neighborhood of Eixample of the Catalan capital.
The entourage went to the house and, when no one answered the doorbell, they called a locksmith to proceed to open the door. When they entered the house they found the woman’s body.
The Mossos, according to the aforementioned sources, have opened an investigation to clarify the causes of death, although the first indications “point to suicide”.
