The purpose of this initiative is to attract a tourist segment linked to luxury to La Laguna, in which Spain is one of the main destinations. Tourists in this segment are attracted by culture, history and gastronomy. During the first months of 2023, La Laguna received a total of 122,216 Brazilian tourists, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
This upward trend in the arrival of Brazilian tourists is very positive after the drop suffered due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
