Tourists from the Imserso de Tenerife are victims of an attack at the Barcelona airport

Two people from a group of 45 tourists from Tenerife who were traveling with the Impressed to the Catalan town of Calella They denounced that they were attacked in the airport of Barcelona when they waited for a bus to take them to their destination.

Cristina D., 69, and her husband, José Gregorio, 75, residents of Puerto de la Cruz, experienced a real ordeal on their trip to Imserso. The worst episode was spent outside the airport in Barcelonawhen, after wait two hours for a bus to take them to the aforementioned Catalan destination, a vehicle arrived, but two young men dressed in orange shirts presumably tried to prevent them from boarding the vehicle, since it was supposedly going to another place, and they arrived at cause injury to the aforementioned couple, according to Cristina D.

Bad experience from the start

The bad experience that this group has had to endure began in Tenerife, when they had to wait, according to Cristina D., almost three hours inside the plane of the company flying to take off

In the end, they arrived around midnight on Tuesday at the Barcelona airport. And at that time no bus was outside the terminal to pick them up. In fact, they had to stay there for a couple of hours until the aforementioned vehicle arrived. Once the bus appeared, at 2:00 a.m. on this Wednesday, May 10, the guide spoke with the driver and there was free rein for the group that left Tenerife to get on. However, at that moment, two men dressed in orange shirts intervened.

One of them allegedly tried to prevent, with shoving, for Cristina D. to come up. When José Gregorio, who was putting the suitcases in the lower part of the bus, realized what was happening, he went to help his wife and began to yell at the said individual. Later, according to Cristina D.’s version, a second individual arrived, who tackled the man from behind, knocked him to the ground and caused him some minor injuries, as in the knee and in an elbow. Cristina D. she suffered a broken toe on one foot in said incident, according to what she denounced.

In the end, explained the victim, all the members of the Imserso group that left Tenerife boarded the aforementioned bus, in which they headed for Calella. Once in that area, according to the aforementioned Puerto de la Cruz neighbor, the driver waited at the entrance to the town for a guide to tell him how to get to the hotel where the aforementioned clients of an agency were going to stay.

The injured couple went directly to the Calella regional hospital, where They stayed until 5:00 a.m. and they issued him an injury report. Later, the couple went to a Mossos police station, where they had to wait several more hours until they could file a complaint.

In the end, Cristina and José Gregorio arrived at the hotel around 5:00 p.m. this Wednesday with a significant level of fatigue, according to the woman.

They will not be able to do tourism

Cristina regrets that the week she will remain in the Catalan coastal town you will not be able to leave the room due to the broken finger and notes that it has all been “very embarrassing and surreal.”

He affirms that he has traveled other times with Imserso and knows that there may be problems that are understandable, but indicates that he has never experienced a similar situation that was recorded on video and of which, he adds, there are many witnesses.
